DIY Spring Decor Tray

Today on the blog, I am sharing some simple ways to add some Spring Decor to a tray for a coffee table.

My husband built and stained this tray when we put together our HOLIDAY DECOR and in addition to our table these are great neutral pieces to change up and add to seasonally.

Adding a few simple pieces (some of which we already had) together, some colour and nature-like inspired touches, brightens up the tray for the upcoming season.

ACCESSORIES:

We have a few of these hardcover books around. For this burlap book I just removed the paper cover and added a piece of burlap (which we had on hand from our SPRING VASES) to part of the cover of the book and taped the ends to the inside. The book has this rustic green and brown sheen to it already so it adds a nice touch to the tray.

On top of that I added a deco ball (which we had a few leftover from the pack we got from IKEA).

This moss bunny is adorable! We recently purchased this from HOMESENSE along with the larger moss bunny that we included in the decor on our SPRING TABLE.

This silver lantern – we have quite a few of these which were part of our wedding reception decor and have a few around our home as well. All we did was added some rocks and greenery leftover from other decor items to spruce it up.

For the base of the tray and at the base of a few items – just some leftover greenery from our DIY VASES.

Lastly, some florals – we got these tiny white flowers from the Dollar Store – and added it to our painted MASON JAR to finish off the tray.

Simple ways to use and re-use what you have and make some simple crafts, plus add a few great finds to bring some Spring Decor into your home.

We hope that you are inspired to try a few of these projects and add them to your space!

Now, we are going to sit back and enjoy the decor and continue our countdown until Spring arrives - while of course working on some more DIY PROJECTS around the home – stay tuned!
