DIY Fall Home Décor Tour

This is one of our favourite times of the year - with a huge selection of décor items available at great price points including simply making a trip to our local Dollar discount store - it is a great time to add some easy to make and inexpensive DIY fall décor to our home!

Today on the blog, we are sharing a mini tour of our fall home décor. If you have seen our previous home DIY décor and reno projects - we tend to us what we have like neutral items that you can use and add items to seasonally.

Here are our planters that we put together in no time. Re-use planters from the Spring/Summer season. We made a trip to a local farm + added some faux flowers from the Dollar Store and some straw/hay and there you go some simple, inexpensive, modern and stylish Fall planters for the front porch.

In addition, although we tend to make a lot of our décor, we do purchase one or two pieces to add what we already have, it adds some flare and something new to your décor and saves you some time. To see our previous DIY posts, you can find them here!

We added our FALL LANTERNS - that we put together last season and shared in this post here .

Our table in the entrance - purchased last Winter - we change this seasonally. A free printable, re-use our DIY fall lanterns from last year, a pack of these rustic-nature inspired items (a LARGE BOX FOR $4 at the Dollar Store) and one of my blanket scarves to complete a simple fall table.

You can find this free printable via Dwell Beautiful here

We added our diy rustic sign, some dollar store items to a vase and pumpkin to continue the rustic theme.

For the coffee table, re-used some summer and winter décor items for this modern-rustic fall inspired tray.

Chalkboard signs are always fun - during the week this is used for our dinner MENU.

This year, we are doing Thanksgiving at our home with our families.

The turkey is in the oven and smells amazing as I am writing this post. Here is our DIY Thanksgiving centrepiece - some spray paint and faux items from the dollar store along with a leaf themed table runner that my parents purchased for us from Portugal - with some DIY leaf tags for the pumpkins made using a gold pen and cardstock.

Tis' the season for taking a little time to be reflect on our blessings, be thankful and share these moments with loved ones. Thank you for following along with our posts and for the support with Yours to Define. We hope you enjoyed our Fall décor tour.

From our family to yours we want to wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving!
