Having anything with chocolate for dessert is always a good idea – and when you combine something sweet with salty it is even better! With these brownies, you get to indulge in the best of both worlds.
Melting and topping it off with Nutella – is your mouth watering yet?
This recipe is so easy and inexpensive to make and you can enjoy it for dessert or anytime really. This is a perfect recipe to make for Valentine’s Day as well.
Made these for a family get together recently and these brownies were given nothing but rave reviews of course!
Recipe: Nutella Pretzel Brownies
Ingredients:
A box of your favourite Brownie Mix (you can opt out ingredients or make a recipe of your preference)
Pretzel sticks - we picked up a Great Value bag
Nutella
Directions:
So simple!
1. Mix up the batter according to package (or your recipe) directions.
2. Grease a baking pan. Fill the pan with half of the brownie mix. Sprinkle the pretzels on top.
3. Pour the remaining brownie mixture on top and add more pretzels on top as the final layer.
4. Bake according to package directions.
Once your brownies have cooled, warm up some Nutella in the microwave for a few seconds and drizzle over the brownies with a fork. Feel free to lick the bowl and fork – we sure did!
Let it cool off.
Cut up your brownies and dig in!
